MONITORING OF LOCAL ELECTIONS 2020: KROPYVNYTSKY

•    The results of the survey carried out by the Sociological Group Rating on October 3-10 among the residents of Kropyvnytskyi revealed that 67% of the polled would definitely vote in the local elections, 22% doubt about participation, and 10% are unlikely to vote. Voters’ mobilization is relatively higher among the elderly and women.

•    Considering the parties’ rating (Kropyvnytskyi City Council), “Propozytsiya” party leads with an indicator 26.9% (among those who intend to vote and have decided). Further: “Perspektyva mista” (18.8% of those ready to support), "Sluha Narodu" (11.4%), "Opposition Platform – Za Zhyttia" (9.7%), "European Solidarity" (8.4%), "Batkivshchyna" (7.0%), "Za maybutnye" (4.4%), "Ridne misto" - 4.3%. The rating of other parties is less than 3%. About 11% have not decided on the matter.

•    Andriy Raikovych is the leader among mayoral candidates: 49.2% of those who intend to vote and have decided are ready to support him. 24.9% are ready to support Artem Stryzhakov, 8.0% - Anatoliy Larin, 6.9% - Olga Kovaleva-Alokili, 4.4% - Olexandr Tsertiy. Ratings of other candidates is less than 3%. About 12% of respondents have not decided on the choice.

•    The simulation of the second round of mayoral elections revealed that in case A.Raykovych and other potential candidates ran for office, the current mayor would win. Within a pair with A.Stryzhakov with the result 56% against 33%, with A.Larin - 65% against 18%, with O.Kovaleva-Alokili - 66% against 17%.
