According to a survey conducted by sociological group "Rating" in October 2015, 41% of respondents support the idea to acknowledge OUN-UPA parties struggle for national independence of Ukraine, 38% - do not support.
Another 21% are undecided on this issue.
During 2014-2015, the number of supporters of UPA acknowledgment increased from 27% to 41%, while the opponents of this idea significantly decreased (from 52 to 38%).
Thus, for the first time of years of studying this issue number of supporters of acknowledgment of UPA in Ukraine exceeded the number of opponents.
The idea to acknowledge OUN and UPA members struggle for Ukraine's independence the most support in the West (76%) and lowest in the South (27%) and East (23%).
The younger the respondents, the higher the level of education and income, the more they support the acknowledgment of OUN-UPA parties struggle for Ukraine's independence. Also relatively more support among men and Ukrainian - speaking respondents.
