•    According to the survey carried out by the Sociological Group “Rating” on 6-10 July, 2019, 35% of the respondents believe that things in Ukraine are heading in the right direction, 39% revealed an opposite opinion, and 26% have not decided on the issue. The state of things is best evaluated in the West, worst - in the East. Young people and “Sluha Narodu” voters remain more optimistic.

•    The leader of the electoral sympathies among the political forces is “Sluha Narodu” party – 47% of those who intend to vote and have decided on the choice are ready to support it. “Opposition Platform – Za Zhittya” (11.6%), “European Solidarity” (8.2%), “Holos” (6.6%), and “Batkyvshchyna” (6.4%) also overcome the hurdle at the moment. 3.6% are ready to support “Syla y Chest” party, 3.2% - “Opposition Bloc”, 2.8% - “Ukrainian Strategy of Hroysman”, 2.5% – Radical Party, 2.1% - “Svoboda”. The rating of other political forces is less than 2%.

•    The leaders of the so-called “second choice” are the parties “Sluha Narodu” (9.6%) and “Holos” (9.3%). 6.2% of the respondents are ready to support “Batkyvshchyna” as an alternative to the main choice; 4.9% - “Opposition Platform – Za Zhittya”, 4.0% - “Syla y Chest”, 2.6% - “Ukrainian Strategy of Hroysman”, 2.5% - Opposition Bloc, 2.4% - “Civic Position”, 2.3% - “European Solidarity”. Other parties – less than 2%.

•    The level of trust in Volodymyr Zelensky is 65% (while 27% do not trust him).

•    Among the leaders of political forces, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk (25%), Dmytro Razumkov (24%), Anatoliy Hrytsenko (23%), Yulia Timoshenko (22%), Yuriy Boyko (22%), Volodymyr Hroysman (20%), and Ihor Smeshko (20%) gain relatively higher level of trust. The least trusted are Petro Poroshenko (14%) and Victor Medvedchuk (12%).

•    In the West of the country, Zelensky and Vakarchuk gain the highest level of trust, in the Center - Zelensky, Hrytsenko, Tymoshenko, Smeshko, and Hroysman, in the South - Zelensky and Boyko, in the East - Zelensky, Boyko, Razumkov, and Medvedchuk.


Audience: residents of Ukraine aged 18 and older. The sample is representative in terms of age, gender, region, and settlement type. Total sample: 2000 respondents. Personal formalized interview (face-to-face). The margin of error does not exceed 2.2%. Period of the survey: 6-10 July, 2019
